From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Dale Schott is a Canadian animator, who directed the 1986 animated sequel, Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation.
As a young man growing up in Norfolk, Ontario, Canada, Schott enjoyed doodling and drawing pictures of his friends' cars. Only did this hobby turn into a successful career when he completed the animation programme at Sheridan College. [1]
In 1983 he has worked as a storyboard artist on DiC's Inspector Gadget and as an assistant animator on Nelvana's first feature-length movie Rock & Rule. Schott also contributed to the original Care Bears Movie in 1985, as well as Ewoks, an animated spin-off from Star Wars. He later became involved in the production of Nelvana's series based on the British comic book character, Rupert Bear.
In 2002, he was a story editor for YTV's Moville Mysteries, another Nelvana production.
