The Dakota Athletic Conference (DAC) is an College Athletic Conference which competes in the NAIA. As the name implies, member teams are located in the states of North Dakota and South Dakota.

The Dakota Athletic Conference was formed from a merger between the North Dakota College Athletic Conference and the South Dakota Intercollegiate Conference. Two schools have left the confernece in its history. The University of Mary joined the NCAA, and Si Tanka-Huron closed.

Member teams field men's and women's teams in cross country, basketball, track and field and golf. Men's teams are field for baseball, football and wrestling. Women's teams are field for soccer, softball and volleyball.
