Dai Yun (born November 22, 1977) [1] is a retired Chinese female badminton player.
She is married with the Chinese badminton player Liu Yong.[citation needed]

[edit] Summer Olympics
Dai Yun competed in badminton at the 2000 Summer Olympics in women's singles. In the first round she had a bye, and in the second round she defeated Ella Karachkova from Russia. In the round of 16 Dai beat Kanako Yonekura and in quartefinals Kim Ji-hyun, to advance to the semifinals. There, she lost to Camilla Martin 11-5, 11-0. In the bronze medal match she also lost to Ye Zhaoying 8-11, 11-2, 11-6.
