D.NEA

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

D.NEA (pronounced /dɪ neɪ ə/) is a privately-held company, based in Battle Creek, Michigan, that produces gem quality synthetic diamonds in yellow, blue and white colors. D.NEA was the first company to produce gem-quality blue and white diamonds, as well as the first to bring a quantifiable yellow diamond to market.

D.NEA was rebranded from Adia Diamonds[1] in early 2008 to focus on luxury bridal and fashion jewelry, while Adia focused mainly on loose diamonds. D.NEA features jewelry by designers such as Ritani, Steven Kretchmer, Jane Taylor and many others.

Their diamonds are created using high pressure, high temperature technology as opposed to mined diamonds.

Each diamond is grown one at a time under strict conditions in a laboratory in Europe[2]. Once it reaches its intended size, it is cut in Antwerp, Belgium.

One of their main selling points is that the diamonds are environmentally friendly and conflict free. Furthermore the company states that each diamond is still unique, just like mined diamonds, because it's impossible to create the same growth conditions again.
