This is a documentation subpage for Template:Current sport (see that page for the template itself).

This template contains 2 optional parameters:

  • image, which can specify an image to replace the soccer ball image
  • event, which can change the event to something other than the default sports-related event text.

For example, the following code:

{{current sport | image=Tennis Racket and Balls.jpg | event=tennis tournament}}

results in this:

Current sport event
 This article documents a current tennis tournament.
Information may change as the event progresses.
