Cumberland Farms is a regional chain of convenience stores based in Canton, Massachusetts, and operating primarily in the eastern United States. Cumberland Farms operates roughly 900 retail stores, gas stations, and a support system including petroleum and grocery distribution operations in 11 states. The colors of "Cumby's," as it is often referred to, are navy blue and orange.
The first convenience store in New England, Cumberland Farms was founded in 1938 by Vasilios and Aphrodite Haseotes. The company is still owned by the Haseotes family, with Lily Haseotes Bentas serving as CEO. Harry Brenner is the President and C.O.O.
Cumberland Farms has its own grocery distribution and bakery operations to supply its stores.
Cumberland Farms has been a two-thirds limited partner in the Gulf Oil company since 1985, and owns the rights to sell gasoline under the Gulf name in Delaware, New Jersey, New York, most of Ohio, Pennsylvania, and the New England states.
