[edit] Bug's last name
Is "Vijayaraghavensatyanaryanamurthy" his last name, really? I doubt it. Casual Karma 05:17, 16 September 2006 (UTC)
- Well, here's what I found for sources:
- IMDb: Crossing Jordan — Dr. Mahesh "Bug" Vijayaraghavensatanaryanamurthy
- TV.com: Crossing Jordan: Cast — Dr. Mahesh "Bug" Vijayaraghavensatyanaryanamurthy
- NBC.com: Crossing Jordan: Bios — "Bug"
- Notice that there is a one-letter difference between IMDb and TV.com:
Vijayaraghavensatanaryanamurthy (IMDb) Vijayaraghavensatyanaryanamurthy (TV.com)
- Unless a better source comes along, I'd go with IMDb's name, as I trust its cast information more than I do TV.com. ~ Jeff Q (talk) 14:27, 16 September 2006 (UTC)

- I was hit with a thought and actually believe that satyan is correct(and that haven should be havan) because Drs. Vijay Raghavan, Sharma Satyan, K.J. Aryana, and M.R.N. Murthy are all scientists involved in protein and dna research. Karinagw 05:07, 18 December 2006 (UTC)Karina

- I would be more likely to agree with IMDB, however someone may have added the "y" because of the placement there. Notice that it then breaks up the letters "satan". Whoever posted the TV.com info may have had a religious objection to a scientist having the name satan in his name. Or maybe I'm reading too much into it.... ~

[edit] Judy Reyes
Does anyone remember actress Judy Reyes, from the show Scrubs, being in a few of the very first episodes. I think I remember her being a medical examiner in the pilot. However, I don't see any info on this on either her own wiki page or her imdb filmography. Any thoughts? laonoodlekeemow 16:42, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
- It seems that the actress that I was thinking of was in fact María Celedonio. She is the only Latina name in the pilot episode's cast list. laonoodlekeemow 02:53, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Original premiere date
I clearly recall that Crossing Jordan was originally scheduled to debut on Sept 11, 2001 but obviously was delayed. I can't seem to find an online source for this -- anyone know of one? 23skidoo 15:15, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Brooke Smith as Kate Switzer
Many of us half-recognized the actress from the film "Silence of the Lambs" (as the "final" victim, you know, the one who is in the well and threatens the villain's dog...).
She's been on a handful of CJ episodes now, and IMDB (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0807548/) lists her in 4 of them (I thought she's been in more, actually). The way her humourously *in*senstive character is being utilized I suspect she'll continue to play an excellent foil to the series' titular sensitive character... So shouldn't she be listed in at least the 'recurring characters' section? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 199.214.24.155 (talk) 18:00, 20 February 2007 (UTC).
[edit] Boston accent
How come none of the characters have a Boston accent? The only one was the father, but he seems to be missing from the cast now. None of the extras, nor the primary characters have a Boston accent and it pisses me off. lol. I just had to comment because I was looking forward to this show, and liked it at first. But, now I rarely watch it because it is so unbelievable. Even the street people don't have accents. WTH is that? Sometimes seeing the streets is fun, but other than that I can't believe there is not one person who ever appears on the show has no hint of a Boston accent what-so-evah. - Jeeny -talk- 01:59, 29 April 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Season three
Can anyone shed light on the sequence for episodes in season three? I have been watching them lately, and the order seems to make no sense. The final episode should come first, right after the finale of season two. And there are episodes without Devan that seem to pre-date her arrival, but that come in between ones she is in. Anybody else noticed this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 91.107.86.199 (talk) 20:25, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Looking for help writing an article about the spin-offs and crossovers of this series
I am writing an article about all of the series which are in the same shared reality as this one through spin-offs and crossovers. I could use a little help expanding the article since it is currently extremely dense and a bit jumbled with some sentence structures being extremely repetitive. I would like to be able to put this article into article space soon. Any and all help in writing the article would be appreciated, even a comment or two on the talk page would help. Please give it a read through, also please do not comment here since I do not have all of the series on my watch list. - LA @ 16:28, 16 March 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Jordan's mother
Given how much it factored into a number of episodes, I expected a section summarizing whatever is known about Jordan's mother's murder. I was an occasion viewer, but do not know how (or if) this was finally resolved. Other than the fingerprint mentioned, how was her half-brother involved, etc.? —MJBurrage(T•C) 20:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
