I noticed that Crompond was listed both in Cortlandt, New York and Yorktown, New York. My map shows that the community is at the eastern edge of Cortlandt, so I corrected the three pages. Nricardo disagreed with me. I sure hope he is right because he undid my work, but then, he is from that area. Stepp-Wulf 03:53, 11 February 2006 (UTC).

My backup for this change can be found by examining the maps here: [1], as well as the town websites of Cortlandt and Yorktown. --Nelson Ricardo 04:40, 11 February 2006 (UTC)
  • I agree that Nelson Ricardo is correct with regards to the reference cited, but my maps show Crompond to be farther west, within Cortlandt. I wonder if the CDP is NOT the same as the community, in that the CDP is a name given to the area farther to the east (which does not appear to have a name). I defer to Nelson.
