[edit] Career

Toselli began his professional career at Universidad Católica in 2006, when goalkeeper Rainer Wirth was loaned to Temuco. He than became the team's number three goalkeeper for the season.

Toselli was part of the Chile U-20, which finished fourth place at the 2007 South American Youth Championship in Paraguay. He watched the first two games from the bench, until the third game when he replaced Colo-Colo player Richard Leyton as the team's number one goalkeeper for the rest of the tournament. He was also part of the Chilean national squad who finished third at the 2007 FIFA Under 20 World Cup in Canada. There he set a record for most minutes without conceding a goal in a FIFA Under 20 World Cup; he was not beaten for 492 minutes in total.[1] He was also on the shortlist for the tournament's best player.
