Coxhoe is a village in County Durham, England. It is situated between Bowburn and Cornforth, a few miles south of Durham, and within the City of Durham government district.
Elizabeth Barrett Browning spent her childhood in nearby Coxhoe Hall. It was demolished by the National Coal Board, on grounds of subsidence.
The is a large amount of new housing.
It is situated by Durham Services on the A1(M).
Coxhoe is also a civil parish which also includes nearby Quarrington Hill.
