I replaced the pronunciation. According to Mission Trails Regional Park historians the name is pronounced 'kohls' or like "coals". Rsduhamel 08:13, 27 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The "S" in the late 1980s
As I recall, there was talk about repainting the "S" in the late 1980s but there was such an uproar from environmentalists that it was never actually done. Rsduhamel 03:12, 2 July 2006 (UTC)
