A counterweight of lead would be much to expensive for big cranes. Most cranes use counterweights made from concrete. -- JeLuF

The only reason I said lead was because I once saw a tv program on the leaning tower of Piza and they used lead counterweights to try and correct the lean. As you can probably tell I am no expert on cranrs. Theresa knott 21:01 Mar 29, 2003 (UTC)

[edit] Blocked resource

One of the metronome reference was blocked from adding by a WP spam filter. If someone can figure out how to add

<ref name="Suite101">{{cite web|author=Criswell, Chad|title=What is a Metronome? Metronome Types, Uses and Suggestions|date=13 February 2007|url=http://musicappreciation.suite101.com/article.cfm/what_is_a_metronome|accessdate=7 April 2007}}</ref>

as a resource at the end of the metronome section, please do so. Thank you. Sundaybrunch 20:03, 6 April 2007 (UTC)
