Cougar Ridge is a residential neighbourhood in the south-west quadrant of Calgary, Alberta. It is located at the western edge of the city and is bounded by Paskapoo Slopes and Canada Olympic Park to the north, 69 Street W to the east, 101 Street W to the west and Old Banff Coach Road to the south.

The Olympic Village is located in the north-east corner if the community; it was built on the escarpment facing Sarcee Trail and the Bow River to host athletes during the 1988 Winter Olympics, and was subsequently converted to condominiums. The lands (formerly part of the East Springbank area) were annexed to the City of Calgary in 1995, and Cougar Ridge was established in 2001.[3]

It is represented in the Calgary City Council by Ward 1 and 6 Alderman Dale Hodges and Craig Burrows.[1]
