Corneliu Ion (born June 27, 1951) is a Romanian sports shooter and Olympic Champion.
He was born in Focşani.
He won Gold medal in Rapid-Fire Pistol in the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow, and obtained a silver medal in the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.[1]
