[edit] Article Name

Is it just me, or does this article's naming seem a bit too general. Surely the concept of continuation is more than just its video game usage? I for one was confused when I got here. -- cmh 02:44, 15 May 2006 (UTC)

Me too. I expected something about the continue statement in many computer languages. -- Unnamed

In my opinion, I think this should be moved to Continue_(video games) and Continue should be a disambiguation page. -- CrazyTerabyte 13:33, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Haunted Castle

Additional coins could be inserted before pressing start to increase the player's health; for every coin inserted the player's health doubled, up to the game's ten-coin limit.

I find this difficult to believe. If you inserted 10 coins, this would double your health 9 times, multiplying it by 512. Are you sure it doesn't just increment the multiplier, giving you 10 times health? — Daniel 22:14, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

I've tested that game on MAME. I can say it does have a DIP Switch to allow continues. In addition, the player starts with 16 points of health and each additional coin adds more 16 points, up to 4 coins in total (64 points). These points are only added when the player press Start button, just adding coins does nothing (apart incresing the number of credits). So, in my opinion the comments about this game should be removed from the article. --CrazyTerabyte 13:33, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Does not cite references?

The unreferenced template has been added to this article since October 2006. I disagree with it. The continue concept is simple and present in many games. I've read the article and I think it does not need to cite references (like Life bar does not cite references too). I'm removing that tag, if someone finds something that needs a citation, mark that (but be specific, I see no point in adding that tag to the whole article). —Preceding unsigned comment added by CrazyTerabyte (talkcontribs) 13:43, 3 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] C Language

"Continue" is also a command in the C, C++, and C# computer languages. It is rarely used that's why I tried to find it here but it is not.66.55.54.106 (talk) 19:26, 5 February 2008 (UTC)
