[edit] Merge

  • Merge: All of the listed concepts above are all stubby articles that cannot possibly be expanded any more. There are also many concepts in the Ender's Game series, of all which would be better merged and explained into a single "list of" article than be scattered in a series of tiny stub articles. See Talk:Ender's Game Series for a similar merge discussion (this one for Hierarchy of Alienness). Hbdragon88 00:54, 10 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Descoladore?

Aren't they called "Descoladores", and not "Descoladore"? That sounds like an English version of the name to me, although I'm not really sure about it.

No doubt there is an S missing. "Descoladores" is meant to be a Portuguese word, and refers to the beings that made the Descolada, thus should be in plural: "Descoladores"--Iruando (talk) 23:27, 20 February 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Aiùa pronunciation?

Could someone put an IPA pronunciation of aiùa? “Ayu” doesn’t cut it. —Frungi 04:23, 22 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spoiler

I haven't read Ender's Game yet, so I don't want to read any more, but are there spoilers on this page? --JamesBrownJr 02:56, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, there are mega spoilers here. I've just added a {{spoiler}} tag. Hbdragon88 03:23, 16 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The accents on "utlanning" are incorrect

I have removed the accents from "utlanning," since, in Speaker for the Dead, if I'm not mistaken, it is mentioned that the words of the Hierarchy were adopted to Stark in Demosthenes' essay and the accents were removed. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's the way it is supposed to be. Brad Gibbons 02:12, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Re-added spoilers

I agree 100% percent that spoiler warnings are necessary on most of this page. Some just discuss general concepts whose revelation does not advance the plot, but many sections contain more than that. Specifically, (SPOILER WARNING right here!) knowing about the specifics of Bean's affliction, the dispatchment of the Lusitania fleet, the existence of the Descoladores, how Ender handles the Fantasy Game, how EG ends, and how Outspace works would all be major spoilers. (END SPOILER) Hopefully you all see how true that is. Brad Gibbons 02:30, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

Er, it's a fictional concepts article. It's therefore made of plot elements. It doesn't make sense to think someone would read an article called "Concepts in ..." without expecting it to be all about all of the story - David Gerard 07:17, 31 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Is there any sources for the MD Device?

It says something about a group of scientists attempting it in real life. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 60.240.70.238 (talk) 09:56, 5 December 2007 (UTC)
