Constantinos Samaras (Greek: Κωνσταντίνος Σαμάρας) (born 18 May 1984 in Nicosia) is a Cypriot former U21 national, footballer currently playing for Anorthosis in Cyprus as a defender.He is a product of the Anorthosis youth academy and he has played there for all of his career except for 6 months (July 2007-January 2008) when he was released from the club. However he returned back after failing to find a club abroad as it was stated in his contract.(He was not allowed to sign for a Cypriot club for a year). With Anorthosis he has won 2 championships and 1 cup.
