Concord Township is one of the five townships of Lake County, Ohio, United States. The 2000 census found 15,828 people in the township.[3]

Located in the center of the county, it borders the following townships and municipalities:
- Painesville Township - north
- Perry Township - northeast corner
- LeRoy Township - east
- Hambden Township, Geauga County - southeast
- Chardon Township, Geauga County - south
- Kirtland Hills - southwest
- Mentor - west
Concord Township has an area of 23 square miles.[4]
No municipalities are located in Concord Township.

In 2004, the population of Concord Township was estimated at 18,500 people in 7,200 households.[4]

It is one of seven Concord Townships statewide.
Concord Township was established in 1822.[5]

The township is governed by a three-member board of trustees, who are elected in November of odd-numbered years to a four-year term beginning on the following January 1. Two are elected in the year after the presidential election and one is elected in the year before it. There is also an elected township fiscal officer, who serves a four-year term beginning on April 1 of the year after the election, which is held in November of the year before the presidential election. Vacancies in the fiscal officership or on the board of trustees are filled by the remaining trustees. As of 2004, the board members were Caroline Luhta, Christopher Galloway, and Paul Malchesky, and the fiscal officer is Peggy Cusick.[6]

In 2004, the township included approximately 138 miles of roadways.[4]

Schools located in or near Concord Township include Auburn Career Center, Chardon Local Schools, The Goddard School, Hershey Montessori School, Lakeland Community College, Mentor Public Schools, Painesville Township Local Schools, and St. Gabriel School.[7]
