[edit] Minor

Minor typo in caption near the end of article: "The thymus of a full-time fetus, exposed in situ." should probably say "full term." very best regards banjosmitty in New Orleans Sgsmith, nola 01:16, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Injury to carotid artery

I heard somewhere that if either cariotid artery is severed that one can lose enough blood to die within four seconds. This may seem like trivia for some, but I think, assuming it's true, it is also indicative of the pressure prevalent in the artery. TinyMark 20:13, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
