[edit] Color-color diagram examples
I have not yet completely familiarized myself on the rules about which images may be used here, so I stayed on the safe side and only included an image that already had its fair use verified. I would like to see an example color-color diagram included though at some point, if possible. I could even include one that I created for a class I took, if that is allowed, but it would be by far be preferable to get one that was created by a professional astronomer. [edit] Expanding this article
I've just begun a color-color diagram project studying the spectral evolution of transient events in X-rays and gamma-rays. The article here as it is currently written is not widely inclusive of techniques and applications outside of IR. Although I've never contributed to Wikipedia before, but perhaps I'll expand this article when I'm more familiar with this work. 25 January 2008 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.122.193.40 (talk) 20:54, 25 January 2008 (UTC)
- That would be excellent! I just happened to notice it on the wanted list, so I happened to put what I knew and the sources I had that were relevant. I did a bit more research, but had trouble finding sources for statements regarding the more general relevance of a color-color diagram. James McBride (talk) 07:07, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
- Please do, it would help the article greatly.Oreo Priest 16:52, 26 January 2008 (UTC)
