Cofgodas

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cofgodas ("cove gods") were Anglo-Saxon household gods related to the German kobolds and equivalent to the Roman penates.[1] It is generally accepted that the English hob and Scottish brownie are the modern survival of the cofgod.[2]
