between years 1945-1960 was only the small type of the coat of arms in use, because on bigger ones is the symbol of Carpathien Ruthenia (Podkarpatska Rus)which was joined to USSR. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.47.78.181 (talk • contribs) 07:42, 6 September 2006

[edit] Lion

Why is the lion so similar to the one on the nova scotia flag? Crusader4762 00:54, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

I wouldn't say they are, the only thing remotely similar is the position and even that is varied between the two, and the Nova Scotia lion is one tail short. :) If they are similar, then that could be for a number of reasons, maybe the same user designed both svg files (there's only so many ways to show a lion), or maybe the Nova Scotian lion somehow descends from the Czechoslovak one, even though I doubt that is so. +Hexagon1 (t) 05:13, 15 November 2006 (UTC)
