[edit] Re: JLA
The whole article is about the "Justice League". That includes the infobox. The picture represents the current formation of the "Justice League". The change was reverted by another user before me. And that's not my personal view, but it seems to be the view of a group, the ones that has been building the article. You, on the other hand, seem to be the only one that want that change... so that looks much more as a personal view, isn't it? Regards —Lesfer (t/c/@) 16:34, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
- Oh my god, cut the melodrama. Where's my incivility above? I was civil and you know that. When you feel like talking leaving the melodramatic act behind, I'm ready. Regards. —Lesfer (t/c/@) 19:56, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Aquaman (Arthur Joseph Curry)
Hi! With regards to the separate article on the new Aquaman, I think it is a great move. The Aquaman article is 30 kb long and is pretty big. The main article should have a brief description of the new Aquaman, but it is worthy of its own article. Great work. Maple Leaf 17:36, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
I am more than glad to assist. In the talk page, I can leave a message. After reviewing some of the comments, this has resulted in a dispute. In case my comments are unable to bring a resolution, I would strongly recommend contacting a user by the name of Tenebrae. He is very intelligent and is one of the most respected and accomplished members of the Wikicomics Project. Maple Leaf 19:04, 31 August 2007 (UTC)
- Well, I don't know that I'd call myself respected, but it's nice of you to think so!
- Sure, I'll be glad to take a look and make whatever suggestions I can. Offhand, I'm thinking Aquaman would follow the format of The Flash, Green Lantern, etc., but whatever the case, there's a merge/divide template for building consensus on these sort of things. Give me a day or two. And, honestly, I'm flattered that you think I might be helpful.
- Shout-out to Maple Leaf! -- Tenebrae 03:39, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Detective Comics
Can't argue with your point -- if it's updated regularly, then saying "current writer: so-and-such" wouldn't be problematic. But if you're not around to update it, and no one is paying particular attention, then it'll just remain there indefinitely. That's why WP:DATED exists. I'm not sure there's any way every comic's SHB can be kept encyclopedically updated with the current writer/artist.--Tenebrae 01:24, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Bucky
Hiya, Commander. As two longtime Wiki editors and Comics Project regulars, I wanted to ask you, peer to peer, for your help with anonymous IP 71.112.49.16, who's only just now started editing on Wikipedia and has immediately begun making major changes without consensus. Also writing insulting edit summaries.
Since what he's editing involves Bucky, which you and I are in the midst of discussing, I was hoping you could support me in asking that anon IP to hold off until we and probably other ComicsProject guys get together on the Talk page and discuss things like colleagues. Thanks for any help. --Tenebrae (talk) 00:41, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Accusation
The only reason I made an accusation of fascism is because the user changed the article without consulting the talk page first. No consensus was reached, so it was reasonable to assume that the changes were singular of purpose without regard to any previously reached consensus. In any society, circumvention of consensus is easily interpreted as being fascist. If there was good faith involved, why would he not have worked with the other editors as encouraged? That's all I meant. --CmdrClow (talk) 08:17, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
- Thank you for clarifying. Please consider you words next time. Applying labels is uaully not the best way to attempt to foster discussion. - jc37 19:57, 17 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Blackest Night
Since the storyline hasn't been written yet, this can be nothing more than a stub until 2009. I mean, we know Johns has a plot, but it's unknown even what issues the story will run in. Given you seem to be a big fan of Geoff Johns' run, I suggest you work on the Rebirth article, for which there is plenty of information available. WesleyDodds (talk) 09:28, 4 March 2008 (UTC)
- Not really. I don't read Green Lantern (I really did not need Hal Jordan brought back), but from what I can tell the most explicit reference to the upcoming crossover in the stories themselves is that splash page at the end of "Sinestro Corps War". Unless Johns or someone else at DC has said specifically that a given scene you want to mention in the article will tie into the crossover, trying to determine plot points that tie into the upcoming story would be very speculative. [edit] RE: Green Lantern: The Blackest Night
Sure, I'll try to help out as best I can. To be honest, I'm not that informed on the project. But I'll check the page out every so often and add/delete/modify whatever is necessary. Cubzrule (talk) 22:38, 4 March 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Human Flame
The expansion I added may have been more wordy, but I also feel it was more accurate. Is there any way we can compromse on this? Stephen Day (talk) 13:36, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
You didn't respond so I've edited the article again. The wording I've used is less wordy and I hope it satisfies your concerns. If not please respond and let me know how things can be resolved. Stephen Day (talk) 18:18, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:JLA 25.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:JLA 25.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:22, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
