José Gálvez FBC is a Peruvian football club, playing in the city of Chimbote.

On October 27, 1951, the club was founded as Manuel Rivera. The club was named after Manuel Rivera Sánchez, who was a Chimbote city footballer.
On November 11, 1963, the club was renamed to its current name, José Gálvez FBC, because the Peruvian Football Federation determined that the clubs could not be named after living people.
