One of the references has Nummey born in Hastings, Sussex, in 1892, another "in England on the 24th of December 1891".
Therefore are the enlistment docs which can be seen at http://www.vac-acc.gc.ca/remembers/sub.cfm?source=collections/virtualmem/Detail&casualty=996076 accurate.
