CKPC-FM is a Canadian radio station broadcasting at 92.1 FM from 571 West Street in Brantford, Ontario. The station broadcasts adult contemporary music. It is commonly known as FM 92.1 with the tag line, "Simply the best."

  • 1933 - Florence Dolph Buchanan, who was among the first women in broadcasting (and the first woman in Canada to own/operate a radio station), took control of her father's radio station and moved it to Brantford.
  • 1947 - CKPC-FM applies for an FM licence.
  • 1949 - CKPC-FM begins broadcasting at 94.7 FM at 250 watts, simulcasting CKPC (AM).
  • 1955 - Frequency moved to 92.1 FM.
  • 1961 - Signal increased to 450 watts, and began limited independent programming.
  • 1968 - Signal increased to 10,200 watts.
  • 1971 - Station became totally independent of CKPC-AM
  • 1972 - Richard Buchanan purchases the station from his mother.
  • 1976 - Signal increased to 50,000 watts.
