CKGY is a Canadian radio station, broadcasting a country music format at 95.5 FM in Red Deer, Alberta. The station uses the brand name "KG Country". The station is owned by Newcap Radio, which operates over 60 other radio and TV stations across Canada, including CKGY's sister station, Zed 99. The station plays mostly contemporary country music with some older hits thrown in every once in a while. CKGY changed over to FM broadcasting in 2001, having previously been broadcasting on 1170 AM.
