[edit] Made (further) TransLink-esque
I've made this Infobox more TransLink-esque by using blues and adapting (predominately vertical) TransLink bus stop signage into an (imagined) horizontal format – granted that (from what I have seen) the area most TransLink-ed so far has been bus stop signage, it will probably be only a matter of time before train station signage is changed to match. One 'feature' of this TransLink-esque look is the green circle and white zone number within. Also, all element titles (left side) are on a single line, more space is given to element responses (right side), and with minor adjustments to spacing etc, it all equals a tighter, neater Infobox that doesn't run-on for too long unnecessarily. In addition, the distance from Central, as a plain number, uses a template to convert kilometers to miles as per MOS:NUM for our non-metric readers, and I have added a new optional element, brisway, taken from Template:MelbourneRailwayStation1. I have fully expanded and explained the elements used within this Infobox in its documentation. If this works (and it looks like it does), I'll roll-out similar styling to the bus and ferry templates. See anything awry? Please let me know. SEO75 [talk] 09:48, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Template heading image
I think the railway articles should have QR maroon and white or maroon and yellow colour headings just like Melbourne's template is similar to the Connex colours. Even though Melbourne's public transport funds are collected by Metlink just like Brisbane's is by Translink, they have used the colours of the rolling stock operators. The same applies for Sydney as well where they have used the colours of CityRail for the railway templates.
If you decide to go with Translink colours, can I suggest using one of the colours other than white for the background. It stands out more and looks more appealing. I reverted the changes you made recently because there is an error in the template heading image probably due to the left image and right image script, thanks. 124.254.103.130 (talk) 09:16, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
