Church of the Lord Jesus Christ

The Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith (or CLJC) is a Christian based church organization with its headquarters located in Philadelphia, PA.

Founded in 1933 by the late Bishop Sherrod C. Johnson, the church grew into a network of church locations steming from New England to Florida and as far west as California. After Johnson's death in early 1961, the movement continued to flourish under the ministry of the late Bishop S. McDowell Shelton, gaining international recognition while continuing to maintain a solid base in the United States.

The current leader is Bishop Dr. Kenneth N. Shelton (a/k/a Bishop Omega Shelton).

Founded in 1929 by the late Bishop Sherrod C. Johnson, the church grew into a network of church locations steming from New England to Florida and as far west as California. After Johnson's death February 22, 1961, the movement continued to flourish under the ministry of Bishop S. McDowell Shelton until his death October 13, 1991. The Church gained international recognition under Bishop Shelton's leadership. Today, the Church continues to maintain a solid base in the United States.

The current leader is Bishop Omega Shelton, A.K.A. Kenneth N. Shelton.

After the death of Bishop S. McDowell Shelton A.K.A. His Blessedness, there was a dispute over the true leader of the organization. The General Assembly voted and accepted Bishop Omega as their rightful leader and bishop. But, Anthonee Patterson contunues to believe that he is the true owner of the CLJC. The CLJC is involved with several legal battles with Anthonee Patterson and his lawyer, Fincourt Shelton. Fincourt Shelton is the brother of Bishop Omega Shelton (through adoption).
