- Micaela Flores Amaya, a flamenco dancer known as "La Chunga"
- Bernard Chunga, former Chief Justice of Kenya
- "Jimmy Chunga," an on-air pseudonym for one of the staffers at KENZ radio station

- Musonda Chunga a Zambian political candidate
