[edit] Notability

Being an 11th generation descendant of Chretien Du Bois and a member of the DuBois Family Association, I was was both delighted and surprised to see my ancestor in Wikipedia. The problem, however, is that Chretien DuBois, although a Huguenot, did not emigrate to America. Three of his children (Françoise, Louis DuBois and Jacques) did emigrate to New Amsterdam in 1660-1675. Without the distinction of being one of our settler Frenchmen, I doubt that there is a case to establish notability.Tvbanfield (talk) 04:53, 24 February 2008 (UTC)
