I am an occasional contributor to Wikipedia by adding to existing articles or answering questions in Discussion sections.
I am a retired naval officer with service in destroyers and submarines, both diesel and nuclear. I have worked in civilian life as nuclear engineer and business manager. Upon retirement, I lived halftime in France where I spent time traveling and researching cathedrals, sailing ships and family genealogy (du Bois and van Metre).
My interests include navy ships, nuclear power, cathedrals (especially French), sailing ships of the 16-18th centuries) and ancient construction.
