[edit] Chondrosarcona

Chondrosarcona is NOT hereditary

It is true that chondrosarcoma is not hereditary, in itself, but some of the pre-existing conditions that genetically pre-dispose some people to have chondrosarcoma are. Such as Multiple Hereditary Osteochondromas, Li Fraumeni syndrome, Maffucci's and Ollier's diseases.

Chondrosarcoma Care: I just rolled back one of your edits because you removed reference citations with your edits. Your edits look good -- especially in the Treatment section -- and you should probably put them back, but try to keep the references, or put your own in. The link to msts.org was also removed. --Mdwyer 05:02, 24 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] External Links

Just wanted to remind all of the editors here that links to patient support groups violate both the external links policy and the style guide for medical articles. Please remember that patients and their family members are smart enough to perform an internet search on "chondrosarcoma support" if they want to find a support group.
