[edit] Notable Citizens

There are much more notable Chilliwack citizens than the largely unknown Brittney Wilson. I think this section should be restricted to people who have a larger presence, or who have made a greater impact, on the world or national stage.

For example: MP Chuck Strahl (currently making headlines in Sask for pledging to end the Wheat Board monopoly), MLA Barry Penner, author W.P. Kinsella (who I believe lives in Chilliwack, but I am not sure), and James Cleland Richardson, who received the Victoria Cross posthumously after the First World War (there is a statue of him outside the Chilliwack museum). I am sure there are more as well. Meatfight 00:37, 2 August 2006 (UTC)

I second this. Mycologist 11:47, 16 August 2006 (UTC)

I deleted Brittney Wilson, because... no. No one cares. However, I'm too lazy to add citizens who are actually notable, so if anyone wants to check on my list above and make sure they're citizens (the politicians obviously are), feel free. But don't add in any more unknowns! Meatfight 20:51, 8 September 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Music

Most of those bands have no Wiki articles and are not of general interest, They're largely unknown even in neighbouring Vancouver, and should be removed. Tsylos 06:54, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Vandalism

There's been some vandalism... I fixed it, but a notice might be in order. Rapigan 17:19, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
