Chincheng (traditional Chinese: 金城鎮; pinyin: Jīnchéng Chen) is an urban township on the southwestern corner of the island of Kinmen (Quemoy). It is the county seat of Kinmen County, Fukien Province, Republic of China. Since 1949, the Republic of China has been based in Taipei, Taiwan. It also serves as the capital of Republic of China's Fukien Province.
