SLAF China Bay (IATA: TRR, ICAO: VCCT) is a Sri Lanka Air Force base located near the city of Trincomalee in Sri Lanka. Due to its geographical location, its believed to be able to handle any kind of aircraft. Established by the British as RAF Trincomalee in the 1920’s and was attacked by the Japanese during world war 2.
During the time of Indian Peace Keeping Force was in Sri Lanka, China Bay Airport had to operate number of Indian aircraft including IL-76s.

Today this base houses the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy. Establishment in 1976 it is the location of initial officer training in the Sri Lanka Air Force.
Presently there are three lodger formations carrying out training.
- Junior Command & Staff College
- Combat Training School
