The Chicago Cubs Radio Network is comprised of 45 stations in eleven states.[1] It is a division of Tribune Broadcasting's Tribune Radio Network, which (outside of Cubs broadcasts) primarily airs farm reports by Orion Samuelson and Max Armstrong.
The Cubs' flagship radio station is WGN, 720 AM. Pat Hughes is the play-by-play announcer, along with color commentator Ron Santo and pre- and post-game host Cory Provus. All 162 regular season baseball games and all postseason games are broadcast, though not all affiliates distribute the entire slate.
The games are transmitted to stations via C-Band satellite service on AMC-8.
