[edit] Derivation of name

Our article says that "Chenango" is an Onondaga word, but this chart from the Susquehanna River Basin Commission, says it's Oneida. This history, from Wikisource, agrees that it's Oneida, so I'm changing it. Choess 22:53, 9 August 2006 (UTC)

There is controversy as to whether "Chenango" actually means "Bull Thistle" at all. See details here: [1]
