Cherti, Ethiopia

Cherti is a town in southeastern Ethiopia, located in the Afder Zone of the Somali Region.

Based on figures from the Central Statistical Agency in 2005, Cherti has an estimated total population of 8,903, of whom 4,841 were males and 4,062 were females.[1] It is the largest town in Cherti woreda.
