[edit] Disambiguation pages.

Hi - please read up on Wikipedia:Disambiguation - we have very long debated and well-set policies for how disambiguation pages work. Cheers! bd2412 T 19:25, 3 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Image:Rogiercroy.jpg and the Volokh Conspiracy

Hi. I'm quite sure you have a good reason for adding Image:Rogiercroy.jpg to the Volokh Conspiracy article, but I cannot imagine what that reason is. Would you mind satisfying my curiosity? Thanks, CWC(talk) 08:12, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Philippe de Croy is the Volokh Conspiracy's pseudonymous blogger. His pseudonym is, I believe, derived from the famous van der Weyden painting. I've changed the caption of the picture to make it more self-explanatory. (Plus, it's fun to have a picture.) If you nonetheless object to the picture and remove it, I won't object. Object? Not at all! I like it. Good stuff. Thanks, CWC(talk) 15:39, 2 October 2006 (UTC)
I don't think it's appropriate for that page. Maybe if Philippe de Croy (Volokh Conspirator) had a page it would be appropriate there. Nevertheless, I'm going to leave the image, since I'm scared you might give me a bad grade if I remove it. Jtamboli 17:13, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] DC Meetup notice

Greetings. There is going to be a Washington DC Wikipedia meetup on next Saturday, July 21st at 5pm in DC. Since you are listed in Category:Wikipedians_in_Virginia, I thought I'd invite you to come. I'm sorry about the short notice for the meeting. Hopefully we'll do somewhat better in that regard next time. If you can't come but want to make sure that you are informed of future meetings be sure to list yourself under "but let me know about future events", and if you don't want to get any future direct notices \(like this one\), you can list yourself under "I'm not interested in attending any others either" on the DC meetup page.--Gmaxwell 22:09, 14 July 2007 (UTC)
