[edit] Image:MattTilley.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:MattTilley.jpg. I notice the 'image' page specifies that the image is being used under fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first fair use criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed image could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this image is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the image description page and edit it to add {{Replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original Replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace the fair use image by finding a freely licensed image of its subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or a similar) image under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our fair use criteria. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that any fair use images which are replaceable by free-licensed alternatives will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. MECUtalk 23:27, 29 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Robert Rawson

Welcome to Wikipedia! We welcome your help to create new content, but your recent additions (such as Robert Rawson) are considered nonsense. Please refrain from creating nonsense articles. If you want to test things out, edit the sandbox instead. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. --AAA! [edit] Sockpuppetry case

You have been accused of sockpuppetry. Please refer to Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Charliesome for evidence. Please make sure you make yourself familiar with notes for the suspect before editing the evidence page. --AAA! (AAAA) 03:10, 23 June 2007 (UTC)

Please see my comments on Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Charlie.somerville. Shalom Hello 03:37, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Colors

Do you mean changing the colors: sure I'll tell you the basics, in fact I'll give you an example. First go to my preferences and look for signature. Then erase everything there and type

[[User:Charlie.somerville|<span style="color:(color code); background:(color code);">Charlie</span>]].[[User talk:Charlie.somerville|<span style="color:(color code); background:(color code);">somerville</span>]]

(Get the color codes here - scroll down a bit to see them on the page, there will be a bunch http://www.computerhope.com/htmcolor.htm). Now this code would make "Charlie" and "somerville" different colors and different background colors. Any questions?--danielfolsom 10:56, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

[edit] test

test Charlie.somerville 22:02, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia by creating the page TestNS:Main Page. Your test worked, and the page that you created has been or soon will be deleted. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Chris g 09:14, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

For your information - creating new namespaces needs code-level tinkering. See [1] and and [2]. Ordinarily, page titles with colons in them are interpreted as main namespace pages. Hope this helps! --wwwwolf (barks/growls) 11:02, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] User:Charlie.somerville/test1 and User:Charlie.somerville/test2

Hi, are you done with the test? The self redirect is unnecessarily occupying the Double redirects maintenance page. -- Cat chi? 21:05, 19 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sipahh.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Sipahh.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:28, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] AfD nomination of Sipahh

Sipahh, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Sipahh satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sipahh and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Sipahh during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Fabrictramp 15:31, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
