Something is wrong here. If he was 34 when he earned his VC in 1899, he cannot have been born in 1886. Do not know the correct info to correct this article--Shoka 00:41, 1 November 2005 (UTC)

http://www.victoriacross.co.uk/irish.html has Captain Charles FitzCLARENCE on 8th May 1865 at Bishopscourt, Co. Kildare. Which is consistant with obtaining the VC in 1899 at age 34. Have amended the article to reflect this.--Shoka 21:09, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
