please don't remove this if you are not familiar with the history of this technology I believe pfge was conceived of by Schwartz while a graduate student with Bruno Zimm at UCLA, and subsequently developed by Schwartz while a postdoc in Cantor's lab at Columbia University School of Medicine.Cinnamon colbert (talk) 03:36, 23 January 2008 (UTC)
