I seem to recall that the Duc de Morny was a close friend (patron/lover) of Sarah Bernhardt's mother, Judith aka "Julie," and that the Duc helped get Sarah into the Conservatoire for theatrical training when she was around 14 years old. Does anyone else have a reference for this? It's not really germane to the article, but it's a nice little historical tidbit, and what I always remember about the Duc.
