Chachanda is a census town in Murshidabad district in the state of West Bengal, India.

As of 2001 India census,[1] Chachanda had a population of 10,300. Males constitute 51% of the population and females 49%. Chachanda has an average literacy rate of 35%, lower than the national average of 59.5%; with male literacy of 44% and female literacy of 26%. 23% of the population is under 6 years of age.
