[edit] Notes on original translation

The original request was simply to create an entry based on the Fr:Wiki page.
The stories attached to the garden features are indeed spurious nonsense.
The French page is probably created by the chateau's owner or his agent.
I've included all the 'legends' but they're not facts and so really don't belong.
