I noticed your recent contribution to Edinburgh and saw that you hadn't been recognised for your work. --GraemeL (talk) 14:10, 22 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] London National Film Theatre Used Book Sale.JPG

Hello, My name is Fèlix Brun. I am from Spain and I write a column about my life in London (not there at the moment, though) for my town's magazine. This month it is about books and I talk about the used book's market in front of the NFT. I have seen your photo and I like it a lot. I was wondering if I could use it - obviously credited. If so, please, let me know at XXXXXXX.

Thank you very much.

Fèlix Brun

PS a copy of it can be sent to you when published. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.45.167.138 (talk) 14:28, 22 February 2007 (UTC).

Did you read this, could you please reply? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 83.43.65.51 (talk) 14:50, 12 March 2007 (UTC).

No problem. You can use it as long as you link to http://www.ColinGregoryPalmer.net

OK, it will be used. Do you want the site (it is a magazine in paper) or would it be alright that it is written "Photo by Colin Gregory Palmer"?
If you want a copy of it, let me know by email (see above).

[edit] User page as web page

A freely licensed tasteful personal photograph or two are usually allowed on a user's page in order to show the user's human side. See Wikipedia:User page. There may be a point where too many photos turns a user page into a personal web page or a blog. Your user page has 80+ photos on it. You may wish to reduce that number per Wikipedia:User page. [edit] Image source problem with Image:2005-06-19 - United Kingdom - England - London - King's College London - Cornwall House.jpg

Image Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading Image:2005-06-19 - United Kingdom - England - London - King's College London - Cornwall House.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 23:28, 27 April 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Polly (Parrot) 23:28, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
