I added the merge tag because this is essentially the same thing as fainting. the article is in bad shape and nees to be rewritten as well. --Tainter 22:23, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

The CIR is NOT fainting. It is the reason that we faint. The CIR article does need expansion, however. Websurfer135 02:35, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

All that is left is the response which will relieve the Central Ischaemic Response (CIR) in the legs and allow blood to flow back around

It seems a little confusing to me. It states that there is a response (1), which relieves the Central Ischaemic Response (2). What is that first (1) response? Can anyone state this clearer?
