From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Central highlands area of Victoria is situated west of Ballarat, south of Bendigo, north of Melbourne, east of the Alpine areas and into the Great Dividing Range. Major towns of the highlands include Daylesford, Castlemaine and Hepburn Springs
Much controversy surrounds the area as a direct result of it being under threat of logging.
