The pupils are divided into seven form groups, each named after scientists which worked at the Cavendish Laboratory:
Bragg - Maxwell - Mott - Pippard - Rayleigh - Rutherford - Thompson
The forms are used for administrative purposes and also for competitions such as sports day.
